The Bonus Box Tops promotion from General Mills is a favorite among us couponers, especially those of us who collect Box Tops for our kids' schools. With that said, I am officially giving this week's promotion it's own post! This is similar to the recent Game On Promotion in that you instantly save $5 when you buy 10 participating products. This is not a percentage off each item, it works out to an additional $.50 off the sale price for each item. The best way to maximize these savings is to select the items with the lowest post-coupon prices for the lowest final cost. The store ad lists two prices, the sale price, then subtraction of the $.50 additional savings, and the final price in yellow. I am listing the fully reduced price here as well.
The least expensive way to execute this deal is spending a total of $4.90 on ten items. This could be any combination of Pizza Rolls, Potatoes, and Brownie Mix. There is also the potential for FREE Cereal if the Peanut Butter Multi-Grain Cheerios are included, and the Hamburger Helper is a great deal as well. Don't get caught up in the excitement, though. Make sure you buy products you actually need and won't go to waste!
